This year’s scientific meeting, which took place in the context of the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 30th anniversary of the last Conference on Human Rights held in Vienna, was attended by renowned specialists, university professors, scientific researchers and experts.
Presentations of scientific reports and debates on them were grouped in thematic panels. In this framework, various aspects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) were discussed, including the repercussions of its use in terms of human rights, with each of the participants presenting, from the perspective of their own training, both the beneficial role of AI and the potentially harmful points of the large-scale use of Artificial Intelligence in areas such as law, psychology, sociology, without ignoring its impact on climate, migration, health, education, cybersecurity, and more.
This volume contains some of the papers presented at the Cheia Summer University, which caught our attention by the way they approach the proposed topic and by some of the novel elements they contain.
